Digital Enlightenment Forum 2013

The annual Digital Enlightenment Forum will take place from 18 to 20 September in Brussels, Belgium. The event includes a “Digital Futures Workshop” on the theme “The future of personal data and citizenship”.

The event will cover topics such as personal data and citizenship in the digital society, and the future of personal data and citizenship. This will provide an insight into how business, institutions and governments can become more effective and fit-for-purpose through relationships with digitally empowered individuals.

This event is co-hosted by the Digital Enlightenment Forum and by the European Commission (DG CONNECT). It is organised with the support of Sigma Orionis. Participants with scientific, technology, legal, industrial and political backgrounds are expected to attend.
