Science Communication talk series, from 15.02 until 30.03

Dear all,

In the following lines you can find some info about some talks organized by the Italian Chapter:

The MCAA Italy Chapter is happy to announce the “Science Communication talk series” which will be open to all the MCAA Members. Since we would like to make it as interactive as possible, the number of seats is limited and we will give the priority to the MCAA Italy Chapter, but there is plenty of room for members of any chapter. In case the request will be very high, we can also think to re-organize it soon.

What is it? A series of short talks and labs about different scicomm topics.

When is it? February and March 2021, at lunch time (no more than 2h in the time range 12:00-15:00).

Where is it? Online with Zoom and/or GoToMeeting.

What benefits? We can officially report/certificate the number of hours of the course and your institute can decide to convert them into ECTS points (credits). Moreover, we will assign an award to the best communicator (details available soon).

How much does it cost? Registration fee is 50€.

Who can apply? There will be a limited number of seats. The priority will be given to the MCAA Italy Chapter Members, then to the MCAA Members of the other chapters and, in case of some seat left, it will be open to non-members.

When the registration deadline?  The 14th of February 2021.

The final program will be available very soon as well as the registration link. At the moment, if you are interested please write an email to italy.chapter@mariecuriealumni.eu Due to the limited number of seats, we suggest to register as soon as possible. If you are MC fellows at the moment, the event can be reimbursed within your training activity budget.
