TransportNET – Transport Economics course
The network of leading University Groups in Transport Research and high-level Education TransportNET organises a course on Transport Economics from 21 to 27 November in Lisbon, Portugal.
The course will address several topics linked to Utility, price elasticity and consumer surplus, econometric models of economic behavior, choice modeling, congestion pricing and revenue management, regulation and market analysis in transport, infrastructure investment analysis and valuation methods. It will be an opportunity to explore the key aspects of urban logistics through interactions between academia and business.
Participants should receive an attendance certificate and a credit certificate upon successful completion of the evaluation. Concerning doctoral programs, the course corresponds to 6 ECTS credits.
Academic researchers (students, researchers, PhD students) and professionals (from industry and public authorities) holding a Master’s degree or equivalent are expected to participate.
