Important notice: Planned website migration
Between 31 October and the first few days of November, the MCAA website will be in read-only mode as we migrate to our new website. During this time, you can view existing content, but no submissions, edits, or uploads are possible. This includes forms, profile updates, and news items. Thank you for your patience as we work to launch our new, improved site.

PhD Day Groningen

On

The PhD Day Groningen is BACK and will be BIGGER than ever! If you are a PhD student, PostDoc and/or BeNeLux Chapter member and want to broaden your perspectives on research and career, make sure you don’t miss the event of the year – mark your calendar for Friday 22 September and join us and hundreds of fellow PhDs at De Oosterpoort in Groningen!

The event will be running under the theme ‘Your Talent Matters!’ and will offer a wide range of presentations and workshops to attend, all of which carefully designed to help you plan your future. We also want to offer you the invaluable chance to network and build relationships across institutions and disciplines, and meet your fellow Chapter members. Join for a lovely BeNeLux Brunch on the 23rd of September in order to share experiences and ideas about activities that would further improve Chapter activities!

If you still need convincing to buy that ticket to Groningen, see our first confirmed speakers! We are honoured and excited to have as our keynote speaker Nobel prize winner prof. dr. Ben Feringa along with RUG Lecturer of the Year dr. Malvina Nissim, co-founder and CEO of Artificial Intelligence software company birds.ai Camiel Verschoor, philosopher dr. Menno de Bree, and prof. dr. Ingrid Molema, representing the Talent Development program of RuG. Spread the word to your fellow PhDs and sign up via www.phd-day.nl.

You can apply for MicroGrants to cover your travel and registration costs!
REGISTRATION IS OPEN, hurry up and secure your seat, first come first serve!
