Dear members of the Swiss Chapter and other Chapters and Working Groups,
On behalf of the chapter board, we would like to bring to your attention a new exceptional event: Workshop on Scientific Writing lead by Jane Wilhelm!
Have you ever had struggles with your writing? Were not sure which phrase to use? Have you ever received a comment from the referee regarding your writing style and English language? If yes – this workshop is for you!
You will get to the chance to improve your academic writing and have your work checked and edited by the lecturer.
Jane Wilhelm has a background in Humanities and Social sciences. She studied French and English literature, comparative literature, and gave instructions on grammar and style and on the conventions of writing in the Humanities and Social Sciences. She was trained in interdisciplinary research in Switzerland, Canada and France and was a Marie Curie Fellow at the Université Sorbonne – Paris 3. Jane is fully bilingual in French and English.
Jane also kindly agreed to help you with your article/proposal check after the Workshop if you wish.
